 The
Langley Jr. Thunder have announced that the 2010 Jr. A Lacrosse Prospects Game
will be played July 1st at the Langley Events Centre. This event will coincide
with the other Canada Day events sponsored by the Township of Langley.The
annual game showcases the top graduating players from the Junior A League in a
single match - that will face off at 3:00 pm on Canada Day and serve as a
celebration of Canada's official summer sport.
Managers, scouts, coaches and others from the National Lacrosse League and
the Western Lacrosse Association use this game to assist in their drafting and
recruiting.
See the TOP FIVE graduates from each of the eight Junior A Clubs formed into
two teams of 20 performing for an audience that they want to impress!
The first team will be called "TEAM RENNIE" and will be coached by Greg Rennie and his coaching staff
of the Delta Islanders. They will be the AWAY team and will wear blue jerseys. The HOME team will be "TEAM KUPPAN" and will be
coached by Mike Kuppan and his coaching staff of the Burnaby Lakers. They will wear the home white jerseys.
