The search for offence continues.

The Langley Thunder were held to a season-low two goals, falling 12-2 to the visiting Coquitlam Adanacs on Wednesday night at Langley Events Centre in Western Lacrosse Association action.

Coquitlam improves to 4-2 while Langley’s record drops to 1-6 with the team averaging less than six goals per game.

Dante Kulas (1-1) and Jon Phillips scored the lone Thunder goals, beating Coquitlam goaltender Christian Del Bianco about five minutes apart late in the first period and early in the second, respectively.

Del Bianco finished with 32 saves on 34 shots, while James Rahe (2-3) and Dennon Armstrong (0-5) paced the Adanacs offence with five points apiece. Clark Walter (3-0), Jalen Chaster (2-2) and Kean Moon (2-1) each recorded multi-goal games.

Frank Scigliano stopped 22 of 31 shots for Langley before giving way to Keegan Okino, who made 13 saves on 16 shots in relief.

The game was the second half of a home-and-home series between the two teams. The opening contest on Saturday in Coquitlam was much closer but still ended in an 8-7 Adanacs victory.
