Langley, BC (June 6, 2017) The Langley Thunder (0-3) rematch the Nanaimo Timbermen (1-2) on Wednesday night at 7:00pm inside the Langley Events Centre.

This is the second game between the two teams in less than two weeks. Langley dropped a 12-5 decision May 28, 2017 on the Island.

“Our focus is on Wednesday’s game,” said Head Coach Darcy Rhodes. “The guys are fully aware of what they need to do and simply that is staying disciplined, work hard and battle every shift.”

Last week, the Thunder were able to replicate their highest goal total of the season, matching Game 1’s nine-goal output.

“I think the guys have put a lot of work in together and the chemistry is starting to build,” said Rhodes.

The offense continued through the sticks of JP Kealey, Bryce Brochu and James Rahe. The trio combine for 11 points in last week’s game. Kealey continues to impress, sitting second in the WLA in goals and fifth in points.

Tickets for Wednesday’s game are available at the Langley Events Centre Box Office at 604-882-8800 or on the Langley Thunder website.
