by Trevor McManus

Langley, BC (July 18, 2017) The Langley Thunder (3-11) have another set of back-to-backs.

On Tuesday night, Langley visits the Maple Ridge Burrards (10-5) at 7:45pm inside Cam Neely Arena. The Burrards hold a 2-0 record over the Thunder after 16-9 and 9-7 victories earlier in the season.

The second half of the double header goes Wednesday night inside Langley Events Centre. Langley will host the Nanaimo Timbermen (4-9) with faceoff at 7:00pm. The T-Men have a 2-0 season series against the Thunder heading into Wednesday’s showdown.

“Heading into Tuesday, are only focus is our game against Maple Ridge. We have come up on the wrong end of the result twice against them even thought we have played very tough and we would like to take one victory out of the season series,” said Head Coach Darcy Rhodes. “Once we finish our game against the Burrards we will turn our focus to the Timbermen. We are looking to build on the success that we have had at home recently. We plan to make the Langley Events Centre a tough building for our oppositions to play in.”

Tuesday’s game can be watched online on Play Full Screen. Tickets to Tuesday’s game are available at the Langley Events Centre Box Office at 604-882-8800 or on the Langley Thunder website
