Robinson continues climb in Thunder record books

Langley Thunder captain Connor Robinson made his 2026 season debut, scoring five times over a pair of games, moving into the top 10 in goals scored of the franchise's all-time scoring record books.
Robinson had two goals and an assist in a 14-10 loss in Nanaimo against the Timbermen on June 20 before adding a hat trick and one helper in a 14-8 loss in New Westminster against the Salmonbellies on June 25.
The former first overall pick now has 106 goals, 155 assists and 261 points in a Thunder uniform, which rank him ninth, seventh and sixth, respectively, in the categories. With two more goals, he will pull into seventh place.
Against the Timbermen, Langley led 4-3 after 20 minutes but fell behind 9-7 through two periods.
Matching Robinson in that game was Jake Govett, who was also making his season debut. Coady Adamson led the team with four assists with Jon Phillips (2-1), Dante Kulas (1-2) and Alex Lemieux (1-1) also adding multi-point games. Nathaniel Kozevnikov and Gordie Phillips chipped in with a goal apiece.
Andrew Bowman led Nanaimo with goals and nine points.
Robinson led the way against New Westminster with a hat trick and four points with Jon Phillips adding a pair of goals while Kulas (1-2), Kozevnikov (1-1) and Carson Forney had a goal apiece.
Noah Armitage led New Westminster with four goals and nine points.
Langley is back in action when they travel to Burnaby on June 30 to face the Lakers at Bill Copeland Arena. Game time is 7:30pm.
