Rush nab Lemieux in second round

Langley Thunder defender Alex Lemieux was selected by the Saskatchewan Rush in the second round, 26th overall, in the National Lacrosse League Draft.

The draft was held on September 24.

The right-handed defender spent the past two summers with the Thunder senior program in the Western Lacrosse Association, recording five goals and 12 points in 16 games during the 2026 season.
