Thunder set for draft day

Who will be the newest members of the Langley Thunder?

That question will be answered on February 6 as the Western Lacrosse Association holds their annual graduating player draft. The draft gets going at 7:00pm and can be streamed online at tfsetv.ca and will be hosted by Jake Elliott and Tino Fera.

The Thunder hold three picks in the draft, selecting 21st, 28th and 35th overall.

The Maple Ridge Burrards hold the first overall pick in the five-round draft.

Ahead of the draft, each of the seven WLA teams were permitted to protect two players as part of the Territorial Protections, with Langley opting for Stuart Phillips and Cameron Ickert.
