WLA announces social media team for 2024 season

The Western Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce their web and social media team for the 2024 season. Kaylen Lomas, returns to the WLA, having served as the Social Media Coordinator in 2023, and she will be joined by Samantha Chow and Ryann Sheridan.

18-year-old Lomas is a senior student at Dr. Charles Best Secondary School, while Sheridan, 19, is currently pursuing a diploma in Broadcast & Online Journalism at BCIT, specializing in Video Editing, Media Relations, and On-Camera Performance. The 21-year-old Chow received a Certificate of Documentary Film Making from Capilano University in 2020, and recently graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Media Arts and Certificates in Journalism and Media Literacy.

“I am thrilled to have three dynamic, creative, and talented young ladies leading the WLA’s social media efforts this season.  Kaylen, Ryann, and Samantha each bring a unique and valuable skillset, combined with a passion for sports and the game of lacrosse," said WLA Commissioner, Paul Dal Monte.

All three share a passion for digital communication. Lomas, specializes in sports graphic design, social media management, and marketing, while Sheridan has honed her skills as a content creator and social media influencer, while Chow is a social media specialist and content producer, including sports photography and videography who has worked at various levels of competition, across multiple sports.
