The Langley Thunder scored a season-high 11 goals to earn their first victory of the season.
In the second game of a home-and-home series with the Victoria Shamrocks, the Thunder never trailed in an 11-7 victory on Friday night at The Q Centre in Western Lacrosse Association action. The win improved Langley to 1-3, while Victoria suffered its first loss of the season and fell to 2-1.

The Shamrocks cut the deficit to one goal with less than seven minutes remaining, but Langley responded with three unanswered goals to put the game away.
Keegan Okino earned first-star honours, stopping 48 of 55 shots for an .873 save percentage. Connor Watson was named second star after recording a hat trick and six points.
Dante Kulas (2-3), Phillips (1-3), Coady Adamson (2-1), Leon Bohm (1-1), Devin Pipher (1-1) and Messenger (1-0) rounded out the Thunder scoring.
Victoria outshot Langley 55-41.
